Thank you for stopping by my website!  It is my life desire to help women become healthy and break the negative cycle of emotional eating. Part of breaking the cycle is building confidence, learning to handle stress, break bad habits. 

Once women finish my program, they often ask for my help on how to become successful entrepreneurs just like me.

My Back Story...

I grew up in a small town in Southeast Louisiana, like all good southern girls I did what was expected of me...

✔ Go to school

✔ Get a good job

✔ Get married

✔ Buy a house

I felt blessed because I met a good man, had a great job, had a house with a garden. I woke up every morning went through my morning routine, went  to work, came home, and went through my nightly routine... 

Bed... Wake-up... Repeat... 22 years later...

I've struggled with my weight, body image, and self confidence since childhood. 

I was the girl picked last for gym class 
because I wasn't a fast runner or kick the soccer ball far enough.

Our family doctor put me on a diet and encouraged my mom to send me to school with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch instead of me eating school lunches. A PB&J sandwich was supposed to help me lose weight.
Instead of losing weight, I stood out and was ridiculed by my classmates.

Discouraging feelings such as shame and embarrassment followed me into my high school years and beyond. These feelings led to me becoming a yo-yo dieter.

My life revolved around making the scale numbers go down.

Some programs worked and some did not. The results were never permanent.

Admittedly, I felt better and had a boost in confidence when the programs were successful. I carried a constant nagging feeling that the weight would not stay off.

I lived with this emotional rollercoaster from primary school on into my adult life. Eventually, the next NEW DIET FAD would come out. I buckled up and got on board for the next ride.
 ... eat this... don't eat that... then do this... 
Sound familiar?

Grocery shopping took forever trying to find the low fat and diet foods in the grocery store.  

So, this was my life and I had to adjust and deal with it, right? 

Wrong! Then one day, someone introduced me to a new product on the market that changed my life. All of the sudden I discovered gut health and could feel the difference. I was thinking clearer, feeling better, and I had more energy.

My cravings were better managed!
What was going on?!

When people were stopping me to ask me my secret, I was more than happy to help. Then I discovered I could make money selling this product. My enthusiasm spread and women wanted to work with me and learn how to become their own boss!

One day I realized I needed to practice what I preached. I did the unthinkable... Yes! That's right! I quit my desk job!

Now that my gut was healthy, my mind was healthy, and I developed the confidence to take a chance. The risk paid off!

My Present...
I didn't want to limit how I helped women to providing a product. I wanted to know more so I became a certified integrative health coach.

In 2014 I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied over 100 dietary theories and learned from the best in holistic nutrition and wellness. I discovered that what truly feeds us is not necessarily just the food we eat.

Now I posses the tools to teach women how to stop emotional eating, look at your life from a new perspective, take risks, and be successful.

YES! My family thought I was absolutely insane for quitting a stable full time job.
YES! I was very nervous but embraced the endless possibilities in front of me.
YES! I want to help women become successful entrepreneurs.
YES! I want to help women stop eating emotionally and create better habits.

A good relationship with food means eating when you are hungry and stopping when you are full. But sometimes it's just not as easy as that. 

When you find yourself eating for other reasons than satisfying physical hunger it is called emotional eating.

Emotional eating can have different sources but the main reason you may eat even though you aren’t hungry is to fill up emotionally. By using food to satisfy emotional needs for love, belonging, connection and care it means that the void is being filled temporarily.

I know what it’s like to feed feelings of emptiness or loneliness with food, rather than facing what is really going on.
